This Echizen Koshitsu lacquer bowl features both brands' logos and is crafted using the Shinnuri technique, which involves multiple filtrations of lacquer to remove dust before applying a single, smooth coat for a refined finish. While it maintains a traditional form, it offers superior heat and durability compared to conventional lacquerware, making it suitable for rice, simmered dishes, and salads. Despite being made from natural lacquer, it is also dishwasher-safe.
